Leadership teams under pressure don't need another workshop.

They need to reset how they operate.

We help teams reset how they work together.

Our Work

We design and facilitate leadership team interventions, highly customised to the specific dynamics, pressures, and goals of each team. Every engagement combines three elements.
  • Diagnostic

We start by understanding what is really happening inside the team. Through conversations with the sponsor and, where needed, selected team members, we identify patterns in communication, pressure, and decision-making before we design anything.

  • Intervention

A focused working session built specifically for your team. Not a presentation, not a standard workshop. What happens in the room is interactive, co-created, and shaped by what your team actually needs to work through.

We use a range of methodologies and approaches. At the centre is the Process Communication Model (PCM), which gives us a precise picture of how each person in the team is wired: how they communicate, what motivates them, and how they behave under pressure. Individually and as a collective. That picture becomes the foundation for everything that follows.

The session is designed to surface what has been avoided, make visible what has been driving behaviour, and create the conditions for the team to find its own way forward.

  • Follow-through

Some teams invite us back months later to build on the work. Others continue internally, using the shared language and insights developed during the intervention.

Where needed, we support integration through temperature-check conversations, structured reflection prompts, or individual coaching.

The goal is straightforward: reset how the team operates so performance improves and stays improved.

Who This Is For

Most teams reach out at one of these moments.
  • The Team That's Delivering. But Something's Off.

When alignment looks fine but feels fragile.

The numbers may be good. Meetings are productive. From the outside, the leadership team looks aligned.

But internally something feels slightly off. Decisions take longer than they should. Some topics stay just below the surface. Tension occasionally leaks into conversations without anyone quite naming it.

This is the moment to reset. Before the friction becomes structural, decision-making slows, and the cost of inaction starts to compound.

  • The Team Where Differences Are Creating Drag

When the team's diversity stops feeling like an asset.

Leadership teams are made up of strong personalities with different communication styles, different motivations, different ways of responding to pressure. When these differences are understood, they are a strength. When they are not, they create drag.

This shows up clearly in teams navigating M&A integration, rapid growth, or restructuring, where misaligned working styles can quietly erode the value of the deal or the momentum of the growth itself.

We help teams understand how each person is wired, under normal conditions and under pressure, and build a shared operating model that works across those differences.

  • The Team Under Sustained Pressure

When pressure has started to change how people show up.

Sustained pressure changes behaviour. Good people start reacting differently. Patience shortens. Conversations become sharper. Stress patterns begin to drive how the team operates, rather than the other way around.

Left unaddressed, this becomes the norm. High performers disengage, or leave, or start mirroring the patterns they see at the top.

This is when leadership teams need space to pause, see what is happening clearly, and reset.

  • The Team at an Inflection Point

When what got you here will not get you to what's next.

Growth, restructuring, or strategic change often require leadership teams to evolve how they operate. New people. Higher stakes. A strategy that is sound but an operating model that is not keeping up.

Teams that do not make this shift at the right moment find that the gap between strategy and execution widens quietly until it becomes a problem that is much harder to fix.

This is the moment to consciously upgrade how the team collaborates, communicates, and makes decisions, before that gap opens.

If any of this sounds familiar, a conversation is usually the best place to start. Every engagement is scoped to your team's specific situation in terms of size, complexity, and time. It starts with a conversation, not a commitment.

Pnoē is Martine de Weirdt and Nektarios Liolios, two practitioners who have spent their careers working with founders, executives, and leadership teams navigating pressure, complexity, and change.

Who We Are

Martine de Weirdt

Martine de Weirdt combines deep corporate leadership experience with expertise in behavioural dynamics and the Process Communication Model (PCM), of which she is a certified trainer. Her work focuses on helping teams understand how communication styles, motivation, and stress patterns shape how people operate together, especially under pressure.

Nektarios Liolios

Nektarios has spent decades working across the global startup and corporate innovation ecosystem as a founder, coach, advisor, and ecosystem builder. He co-founded Startupbootcamp FinTech and Rainmaking Innovation, and has supported leadership teams at moments when the stakes are high and the conversations are difficult.

Together, they create the conditions where leadership teams can have the conversations that matter and change how they operate. The work can be intense. And it is often necessary.

FAQ

Clear answers to common questions about how we work with teams.

  • No. But it can feel like a deep spring clean for how a leadership team communicates and operates. The focus is always on leadership dynamics, decision-making, and how teams function under pressure.

  • Sometimes. The work often involves surfacing conversations that have been avoided. That can feel intense in the moment. But it is usually far less uncomfortable than continuing to operate with unresolved tension.

  • It depends on what the team needs. Some engagements are a focused one-day intervention. Others unfold over a longer period with follow-through built in. We scope every engagement to the team's specific situation before anything is agreed.

  • No. We work with leadership teams of varying sizes, from small founding teams to large executive groups. The dynamics are different. The work is the same.

  • Yes. We work with corporate leadership teams, founders, and executive groups navigating pressure, complexity, and change. Many of the dynamics we address show up across environments.

  • There is usually plenty of energy in the room. But if the goal is a pleasant offsite rather than real change in how the team operates, we are probably not the right people.

  • That is more common than people think. But leadership team dynamics are rarely about a single individual. They are about how people interact, communicate, and respond to pressure together. Our role is not to single anyone out, but to help the team understand the patterns that shape how it operates. When those patterns become visible, teams usually find their own way forward.

Let's Talk

Leadership teams rarely reach out when everything is working perfectly. If something in how your team operates feels off, a conversation is usually the best place to start.
